Just So Festival

ABout us

just so festival

Just So is a weekend camping festival especially for children and their families. A festival like no other, Just So invites families (from bumps to great-grandparents!) to step out of their day-to-day lives and into a world of arts, literature, theatre, dance, music, comedy and creative pursuits together.

It all takes place in the glades and woodlands of the Rode Hall Estate in Cheshire, a beautiful wonderland where festival goers can explore, unleash their creativity and make lasting memories together in nature.

Just So Festival was started in 2009 by not-for-profit community interest company Wild Rumpus

Wild Rumpus

Wild Rumpus produce extraordinary worlds, most often in wild natural landscapes, and invite families to step inside and help to create incredible stories and moments of wonder. Alongside producing large-scale events, we work with performers, producers and programmers to shape a cultural environment where excellent outdoor work for families thrives.

You can find out about (and hopefully come along to!) our other incredible events by keeping up to date with our plans here.

Wild Rumpus is based at the Whirligig, four acres of woodland next to Rode Hall in Cheshire. The Whirligig is a space for artists, creators, thinkers and producers to step outside day to day life for a day, a week or longer, and re-examine the world from a new perspective.
