INTRODUCING CAMPJUST SO!

Do your kids love Just So, but feel like they’re getting a little bit too old?

Camp Just So is a three-day creative experience prior to Just Festival aimed at young people aged 13-17, plus an accompanying adult. They can come and get a slice of that childlike wonder, while also be helping us to make the magic happen.

Camp Just So is an invitation to step into our world early, join our community of artists and creatives, learn new skills, take part in artist-led workshops, make new friends and most importantly, become part of the behind-the-scenes magic that conjures up Just So!

You’ll be right in the thick of building the festival, ready to throw open the doors to friends and family on Friday afternoon! And then you’ll stay for the festival of course! And see all that glittering wonder you’ve helped to create.

the details

Camp Just So is for ages 13-17, plus an accompanying adult.

You’ll arrive on the festival site on the morning of Wednesday 19th August, we’ll eat together, have campfires, and camp together in a dedicated camping area. You’ll meet new friends, learn new skills, and spend time seeing behind the scenes of Just So. Families who have younger children can all meet at the main festival for the weekend, but this experience is for ages 13 – 17 only.

Camp Just So is a creative programme led by the Just So team as well as professional artists. You’ll take part in inspiring workshops where you’ll create beautiful things that will become part of Just So!

Do parents have to take part in Camp Just So as well?

Camp Just So is for both young people and an accompanying adult so we encourage you both to get involved!

Can I leave my child at Camp Just So?

No, your child must be accompanied at all times on site.

How is it different to being a volunteer?
Camp Just So is separate from our team of volunteers. It’s all about getting creative and making something special for the festival, guided by artists and the Just So team every step of the way.

I have family coming along to Just So on a normal weekend ticket. Can they come and camp with me at Camp Just So instead of in general camping?

Yes, if you have a few more family members coming along they can camp with you in the Camp Just So campsite when the festival opens. Please let us know beforehand at hello@justsofestival.org.uk so we can check they’ll be enough space for them.

Will there be catering?

The cost of the ticket does not include food, but there will be the option to purchase a catering package closer to the time. Yes, you’ll be able to purchase catering from the staff and volunteer catering tent.
