Live in vehicles

The toilets are a mixture of compost toilets, accessible toilets, and portaloos. There are many toilets situated around the site and they are marked on the festival map. Your camping area may not be right next door to the loo, but should be no more than a 5 minute walk.

There are shower blocks with lovely hot water in each camping area. There is a sink area for pot washing near the showers as well as sinks for teeth brushing and washing.

There are elsan points in the live in vehicle campsite for you to safely dispose of your toilet and water waste.

Drinking water is available from stand-pipes around the site. Please bring a reusable water bottle with you and don’t drink directly from the taps.

There are washing up points for doing your washing up in the campsite. Please don’t use the drinking water standpipes for washing up.

There are no fires or BBQs allowed anywhere on the festival site or in any of the camping areas.

You may bring a gas camping stove but it must be raised off the floor by at least 15cm (6inch) to prevent fires and damage to the grass. If you are changing gas canisters for your cooker, please do so outside and some distance away from the tents. Please don’t use candles or lanterns containing candles in the camping areas. Chinese lanterns are also banned as the wire within them is very dangerous to livestock and there are a number of power lines running above the site.

Please be sensible and help us to keep the festival and surrounding countryside safe.

To help reduce the amount of waste sent to landfill, you will find all our campsite waste collection points have separate bins for metals/cans, paper/cardboard and plastic containers. Please take the time to separate your camping waste so we can ensure as much as possible can be sent for recycling.

Bin bags are available to collect from any of the campsite waste collection points. Bins around site are also separated out into general waste and all recyclables, please make sure you use the correct bins.

Please leave your camping spot as you found it, take everything home with you and leave all waste in the waste areas provided. Please make a special effort to take all of your tent pegs with you as sheep live on these fields during the rest of the year.

There are a small number of basic sinks with cold running water for you to wash up in.

Charging for phones and devices is available at the information tent for a small donation. This is situated at the centre of the main festival site.

We have 24/7 site security throughout the festival.

We don’t provide electric hook up anywhere on site, in any of the camping areas. There is no electric hook up in the camping field, live in vehicle fields or boutique camping.

Families who need to store medicines, or have access to electricity for medical related needs, can do so in the Accessible Camping area. Please visit our access page for further information. 

Some suggestions of what not to forget when camping with kids — sunscreen, waterproofs, wellies, sunhat, warm blankets – it will probably get cold at night, waterproof picnic rug, transportation – a buggy (with a raincover) or sling, first aid kit, nappies, anti-bacterial hand gel, bucket/travel potty – for midnight wees, torch, fancy dress.

Animals, glass, bikes, anything illegal, barbecues, fireworks, kites, and sound systems. These items are not allowed on the festival site.

Dogs are not allowed on site at Just So. Only guide dogs and registered assistance dogs are allowed.

We love the Rode Hall Estate and ask that you look after it during your Just So weekend. Our aim is to leave no trace on the site and we’d be grateful if you would help us achieve this. This means putting your litter in the bin, and leaving your campsite just as you found it. Please take care not to wander into areas marked no entry and try not to disturb the wildlife on site.
